Designs charted on graph paper are a universal language, with each square on the pattern representing a single stitch. Basic counted thread stitches begin on page 50, and a page of graph paper is included as an aid to help you create your own projects. These charts are reproduced from the original antiques, and some signs of age and wear will be visible.
